Development of grooved fittings

According to the design specification of automatic sprinkler system, the connection of the system pipe should be groove joint or thread and flange connection;  Pipes with diameters equal to or greater than 100mm in the system shall be piece wise connected with flanges or slotted connectors.  
Grooved pipe connection technology, also known as clamp connection technology, has become the first technology to connect liquid and gas pipelines.  Although the technology was developed later in China than abroad, the domestic market quickly adopted it due to the advanced technology.  From 1998 began to develop, after several years of development and application, gradually replaced the flange and welding two traditional pipe connection.  It is not only more technically mature, but also widely recognized by the market and actively guided by national laws and regulations.  
The application of grooved pipeline connection technology makes the complicated pipeline connection process simple, quick and convenient.  It’s a big step forward in pipeline connection technology.
